Don’t drink Red Bull!
Hah, what’d I tell you . Ok, I’m sure you knew Red Bull was unhealthy for you, but it could be worse than we even thought:
Study: Red Bull Causes Heart Problems
Those students who took part in the study showed a cardiovascular profile of someone with heart disease, again after just one can of Red Bull. After one, sugar-free drink, the study found that the participants’ blood increased in stickiness, raising the risk of blood clots forming.
My heart isn’t something I want to mess around. Now, it’s been known for years that regular caffeine intake isn’t the best for the heart, but it isn’t gonna necessarily kill you so what gives here? Why is Red Bull so bad for you? Well, it is not clear at the moment, but one theory some scientists are tossing around is that the combination of caffeine and taurine is a wild mixture that we probably shouldn’t be ingesting. Red Bull says its drinks only contain about as much caffeine as a cup of coffee and that’s not bad, but when you throw in some taurine, you are enhancing those effects as taurine does similar things to the body. I’d stay away from the Red Bull.
Be careful with the energy drinks and don’t say I didn’t warn you!
